Trump says Epstein ‘stole’ young women from Mar-a-Lago spa, including Virginia Giuffre

President Donald Trump has stated that Jeffrey Epstein "stole" young women from the Mar-a-Lago spa, including Virginia Giuffre, who is one of Epstein's most prominent accusers. Trump's recent comments expand on his earlier remarks about banning Epstein from his Florida club twenty years ago due to Epstein poaching his staff. Despite Trump's annoyance with continued discussion of the case, his administration has faced scrutiny over its refusal to release more records related to Epstein. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend, has been interviewed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and her lawyers have indicated a willingness to answer more questions from Congress if granted immunity. Trump initially stated he banned Epstein because he was "acting like a creep," but later elaborated that Epstein was taking his employees. Giuffre, who claimed she was recruited by Maxwell as a masseuse for Epstein while she was a teenager working at Mar-a-Lago, is central to conspiracy theories surrounding the case. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in the sex-trafficking conspiracy. The House Oversight Committee has stated it will not grant Maxwell immunity. Maxwell's attorneys are seeking a Supreme Court review of her conviction and have suggested she would testify openly if pardoned by Trump.
