Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. U.K. media identified the suspect as the former prince, who is King Charles' brother. Police stated that a man in his 60s was arrested and is currently in custody, with searches underway at his residences. The arrest is linked to an investigation into claims that Mountbatten-Windsor sent confidential trade reports to Jeffrey Epstein. Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal title due to his friendship with the late sex offender. He has acknowledged his ties to Epstein and settled a lawsuit with one of Epstein's accusers but has denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein. Thames Valley Police confirmed the arrest and the ongoing investigation, emphasizing the need to protect its integrity.
