Trump declares that ‘we’ve won’ in Iran

President Donald Trump declared on Wednesday that the United States has won the Iran war, a conflict that began on February 28th. Speaking in Kentucky, Trump praised Operation Epic Fury, a joint U.S.-Israel operation against Iran, stating, "we've won." He elaborated that the war was effectively over within the first hour. These declarations follow mixed signals from the administration regarding the war's timeline. Previously, Trump had suggested the war could end soon due to a lack of targets. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt had stated that operations would conclude when military objectives were met and Iran achieved complete and unconditional surrender, defining this as Iran no longer possessing a ballistic missile arsenal capable of supporting nuclear bomb development. Trump also mentioned efforts to stabilize oil prices, which had risen since the war's start.
